Job Summary: 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented D365 F&O Functional Consultant (Finance). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics 365 F&O Finance and can work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Understand and gather business requirements across Finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Credit & Collections, Expense Management, as applicable). 

• Participate in end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O Finance modules, including solution configuration, testing, and deployment. 

• Work with stakeholders to design functional solutions aligned to business needs and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP). 

• Prepare functional documentation (BRD/FRD/FDD), author test cases, and conduct UAT sessions. 

• Provide end-user training and post-implementation support for Finance users. 

• Configure D365 F&O in accordance with Microsoft best practices (chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting profiles, workflows). 

• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations (bank connectivity/payment formats, tax/e-invoicing where applicable), customizations, and troubleshooting. 

• Support data migration (master data, opening balances) using Data entities/DMF with reconciliation. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX) with a focus on Finance. 

• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Credit & Collections (Expense Management is a nice-to-have). 

• Experience in at least one full project lifecycle (end-to-end implementation or upgrade) plus support/enhancements. 

• Ability to conduct fitgap analysis, create functional design documents, and manage testing cycles. 

• Familiarity with Financial reporting, Electronic Reporting (ER) formats, and Power BI consumption for Finance. 

• Solid grasp of accounting processes (period close, reconciliations, allocations) and compliance/audit considerations. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Good To Have: 

• Microsoft Certified: MB300 (Core) and MB310 (Finance). 

• Exposure to Azure DevOps (Boards/Test Plans), Lifecycle Services (LCS), RSAT, and Power Platform (Power Automate for approvals). 

• Knowledge of localizations (e.g., GST/e-invoice/e-invoice/e-way bill, VAT, Intrastat) and bank payment formats. 

• Understanding of integration patterns (Dataverse/dualwrite) and collaboration with technical teams on extensions.
