Expert D365 F&O SCM Functional Consultant: Drive operational excellence across P2P, O2C, and WMS through end-to-end strategic digital solutions.
Role Overview
We are hiring a D365 F&O Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant to provide day‑to‑day support across core SCM processes, ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will handle incidents, minor enhancements, and change requests, collaborate with business users and technical teams, and help strengthen operational controls. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, Inventory, and basic/advanced Warehouse Management, with working knowledge of LCS, Azure DevOps, and Data Management.
Key Responsibilities
Incident & Service Requests: Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues in Procurement & Sourcing, Sales & Marketing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management (WMS), Product Information Management, Quality, and Master Planning within agreed SLAs.
Functional Support: Stabilize daily operations—PR/PO lifecycle, vendor collaboration, trade agreements, sales orders, reservations, picking/packing, shipment confirmation, returns (RMA/RPO), quality orders, and nonconformance processes.
WMS & Operations: Support mobile device flows (receiving, put‑away, picking, cycle counting), work templates, location directives, wave setups, label printing, and ASN/ship documentation in coordination with operations teams.
Planning: Monitor master plans, coverage groups, item coverage, and planned orders; assist users in analyzing exceptions and correcting planning parameters.
Configuration & Change: Implement low‑risk configuration updates (item model groups, storage/tracking dimensions, unit conversions, trade agreements, workflows) under change control and SoD guidelines.
Data Management: Use DMF/Data Entities for controlled data fixes, imports/exports, and mass updates; maintain audit trails and follow data governance standards.
Testing & Updates: Create/execute test cases and contribute to regression packs; support RSAT where applicable; validate Microsoft service updates and ISV fixes in sandbox before promotion.
Integrations & Jobs: Monitor batch jobs, recurring data projects, and EDI/middleware interfaces; reprocess failures and coordinate with technical teams for permanent fixes.
Documentation & Training: Maintain SOPs/KB articles, release notes, and process maps; deliver refresher training and hypercare support after releases.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Log and manage Microsoft/ISV support tickets; communicate issue status, risks, and timelines to business stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years in ERP SCM support with at least 2+ years on D365 F&O/AX.
Strong working knowledge of P2P, O2C, Inventory, and WMS (basic; exposure to Advanced WMS preferred); familiarity with MRP concepts.
Hands‑on with LCS, Azure DevOps (work items/boards), Data Management (DMF); exposure to RSAT and Power BI is a plus.
Understanding of integrations (BYOD, entities, EDI basics) and ability to read logs to aid troubleshooting; basic SQL/X++ awareness advantageous.
Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident/change/problem) and SLA discipline.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications: MB‑300 preferred; MB‑330 is an advantage.
Nice to Have
Localization exposure (e.g., GST/e‑invoicing/WHT, Intrastat/SAF‑T).
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or 3PL environments.
Power Platform (Power Automate) for light automation and notifications.
